As you can probably tell by now, I'm all about getting the best overall views of cities, and New York is no exception. In fact, it's probably the city that started it all!  Now I know that travelling can be very expensive, and you have to make cuts and sacrifices; so my number 1 tip for that in NY is if you're going to go to the top of either the Empire State building or the Rockefeller Centre, pick the Rockefeller Centre. Why? I'm sure many of you are already aware of all the incredible museums, and Churches in Paris, so for this post, I want to show you some different angles on this classic city.  Going up the Eiffel Tower, although gives an incredible view of Paris, you're missing one landmark in your photos, the Eiffel Tower itself. This is where I suggest viewing Paris from Tour Montparnasse. London is another city that is rich with culture and history. Around every corner there is a structural masterpiece, whether new or old, they all make up the iconic skyline of London. Starting out where the Queen resides,  Buckingham Palace is always on the top of the to do list while in London, although it is beautiful to just admire, it's also worth taking a look at the Changing of the Guards timetable  and try to get a bit of a show in too!   Of course another favourite is the London Eye, which gives you probably one of the best views of London. Price Guide Understanding what the general price for a product in Malawi is extremely important, as generally, a pale skin complexion will increase the offered price by double sometimes triple from the normal price. This unfortunate trait occurs from when the few tourist that do visit Malawi posses a lack of understanding of the haggling culture. Similarly, tourists often believe that it is mean to the shop merchant to try and lower the price and so they pay the extremely inflated 'tourist' price, which merely reinforces the behavior. This approach has many detrimental affects on the livelihoods of the people of Malawi. By offering a short term increase in wealth/income, the tourist is distorting the self-sufficiency of the Malawian people, creating an unhealthy dependency on foreign aid. As many of you would know, there is more to Greece than just the main island with their capital, Athens. Greece is known for it's islands and there are 227 inhabited islands to choose and explore from.  Although the main island does feature the famous Parthenon, which is visible from many different locations around the city, as well as a number of other historical landmarks which have stood the test of time.  The Greek Islands boast many natural and man-made features, from the beautiful architecture, to the crystal clear water. The most popular islands include Santorini, Mykonos and Ios. Other than roaming the islands, there are plenty of activities, such as boat trips, quad biking and visiting some historical landmarks.  Santorini There is definitely a lot to see and do in Greece, so I'd suggest packing some good walking shoes (unless you're travelling by donkey!) Tourism in Malawi As you may have gathered by now, Malawi is certainly not a regular tourist destination. Therefore, the 'activities' for visitors to the country are limited. Arguably one of the most beautiful regions of the country is at Lake Malawi. An enormous in land lake that is hared between various African nations, but in Malawi, it is appropriately named lake Malawi. Although swimming is unfortunately not an option at this attraction, there are numerous short cruises you can embark on for a reasonable fair. Below you can see a photo on the shore of the lake with a book in hand (apologies for the portrait orientation). Along with relaxing by the lake side, Malawi is home to a large game reserve for the more adventurous. I went to the Majete national park for a weekend saw an array of animals. Let's start out with the timing of driving to Vegas vs. flying to Vegas.  Driving takes approximately 4 hours (give or take, also depending on the route)  The flight is 1 hour and 15 minutes (+ the hour you have to be at the airport before hand) The flight time also doesn't include the time to get to the airport or to get to the hotel once landing, so let's say it takes about 3 hours at best. That's only an hour shorter than driving. Now this also doesn't take into consideration any inconveniences such as loosing luggage, the flight being delayed (or cancelled all together), or sitting behind a screaming child the whole time.  In addition to this, the drive itself is quite peaceful as you're surrounded by mountains and open plains as soon as you leave the city.
